Welcome to Middle Department Inspection Agency, Inc.
MDIA is an independent inspection company, which is an outgrowth of the Middle Department Association of Fire Underwriters, an organization of fire and casualty insurance companies that began making inspections in Pennsylvania and Delaware in 1883. We proudly boast a continuous involvement in the inspection industry, entering our third century, operating in six states in the mid-Atlantic region.
Since our inception in 1883, our reputation and capabilities have grown to include a full range of safety inspection services, including plan review, building, plumbing, fire protection and electric.
Our highly skilled and specialized inspectors are dedicated to accurate and efficient evaluations to ensure safety and compliance with state ordinance and law.
